Podcasts on the 19th Amendment

The students in 5th grade worked on the 19th amendment and broadcasting and digital capture of sound and image. Each group produced a crowd scene and after listening to an actress read the famous speech by Sojourner Truth "Ain't I a Woman", individual students wrote home about their reactions as if they were people in that time and place, which was Akron Ohio, 1851
